The Thames Valley Education Foundation (TVEF) is a charitable organization created to enhance opportunities to the schools and students at Thames Valley District School Board. 

On November 28th, the TVEF is asking the community help to raise $30,000 to support the Caring Fund. The Caring Fund was established in order to respond to emergency requests by principals on behalf of students in need, or who are facing issues related to poverty.

All proceeds raised on Giving Tuesday will support student’s emergency financial requests through the Caring Fund. 

The need has never been higher. Caring Fund requests have increased by 31% compared to last year. TVEF is anticipating over 800 requests will come in before the end of the school year - roughly $400,000 in funding.
